This is what she wrote in the email to him. Her own son.

Then when he was nominated by Trump she said she didn't mean any of it and apologised to him. Sat behind him at his confirmation hearing stating how proud she was.

He’ll be more than a footnote, much more.

Agree on the visit, though. The Dutch royals are just back, again reportedly against the national mood, but the visit passed without incident. That said, now that he realises their proximity to Venezuela, Trump will probably order the seizure of the ABC islands
 
I disagree with the visit Gabriel.

The 'normal' Americans will see it for what it is, but visiting by royal families, especially the King, just gives Trump credibility in his mind and with his tribe.

I'm no royalist, so don't have much time for the King, but regardless, it does have standing in the world and history. Trump sees himself as being on par with the King and this visit only validates his view.

I guess the question is how long this regime will continue and does everything then revert back to normal with the demise of Trump, or does it continue with another figurehead?

The country is extremely divided.

I've always been of the view that there is more behind this coup than just Trump. These people seem to have two interests in life, MONEY and POWER and now they have both in bucketloads.

The most powerful military in the world, control of the media, justice, police, army, social media, have a total disregard for the law and 'probably' manipulate the markets to make absolute fortunes. All their Christmases have come at once.

I don't think for one moment they are prepared to relinquish that........certainly not in the name of democracy!!

There is a definite cozying up to Putin, unashamed support for Orban, much talk of leaving NATO, bully-boy diplomacy on a grand scale, total disregard for international law, so does anyone believe this is going to change anytime soon.....with or without Trump?

As for Trump, I think he's trying set the foundation for a Trump dynasty.

For me he shouldnt.

And I dont think it will hurt for USA when they are desperate to resume the alliance to know just how much they owe us, maybe its a bit of a bargaining chip we will have over the new, sane administration.
