US Open Golf

Had a sneaky £2 each way on Karllson at 200-1...currently at 1 over so sitting ok.

Also on Fowler/Scott/Sergio/and poulter-Boylesports paying quarter the odds on 6 places..

hardly any, if any, you have to be as straight as a dime.

Should suit Donald if he's on it.

really suit Lee up to the green, but as long as he makes pars here he wins imo, doesn't need to make many birdies unlike Augusta.

This is one hell of a threeball that's just set off.

Be great if they can all drag each other along over the first couple of days.

Gonna be a horrible tournament for all of these players. The media are loving what Woods is doing but I'd bet he'll hit an 80 before the week is out.

Has +5 or +6 ever won a major? I think it could do here.

At least there are plenty of players mulling around at +1, 2 and 3, meaning that by the law of averages a couple of them should stay there tonight.

I think the post-war major record is +9 back in the 60's, there's been a couple of +7's over the years but in recent times I think Lawrie at Carnasty in 99(+6), and the US Open wins for Ogilvy and Cabrera in 06 and 07 were both at +5.

Plays into the hands of the underdog when it's this difficult.

Or a quality golfer who just cant put ;)

Im still going for Westwood.

Fowler is sitting quite nicely at +2. I didn't see any of his round as I was in bed, but hopefully he'll come home in 68-70 today and he'll be in with a great shout going into the weekend.

looked pretty solid from what I saw of him.

That'll do for me. I just want a similar performance today and then for him to really express himself at the weekend. That could go two ways really. At least I'll be able tow atch the next two days play. Sunday will be a struggle as I'm up early for work on Monday morning.
