US Politics Thread

Needless to say, I’ve seen that a hundred times. The guy also did another one that had the pay-off line “At least we’re not Detroit”. I’m sure you also know that the city is way better than that!
I’m not sure, from what I hear Cleveland is pretty bleak, at least Detriot gave the world J Dilla. Even the Lions are a decent team now, the Browns are just the Browns.

Ok. Foggy, Chicago et al. Tell me what percentage of the country is actually as thick as this, because we see a lot of it online and in the media over here.
There is a perception that America is in a very weird place at the moment and this is potentially what we might have as the moral guardians of the universe.
Some of these supporters have already gone to infinity and beyond, it would seem.
I mean, I never run into anyone like this and don’t personally know anyone like this. But my 89 year-old mother had some friends who went off the deep end. My LGBTQ kid confronted some non-university-affiliated “Christian” protestors (who said she was going to hell) on college campus last year and had it out with them. So on the fringes of my life, there are some folks who move in this guy’s orbit. But I’d guess it’s at most 1 of 20 people. Problem is the 6-8/20 or so who aren’t this but will still support the GOP because it ain’t the “demmy-krats”.

I live in Cleveland, which is thankfully like most cities, an island of sanity. However, one you get into rural Ohio, I’d say he’s representative of a solid 20% of the electorate.
A constituent of the attack dog lunatic known as Jim "the wrestler" Jordan perhaps?
