Crow paid for private school for a relative Thomas said he was raising “as a son.” “This is way outside the norm,” said a former White House ethics lawyer.

This is the “more to come out” I predicted weeks ago. And there will no doubt be even more to follow about him, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Coney Barrett. It’ll be a broken faucet of unethical (and potentially illegal) behaviour.

But I still think he won’t face any real consequences, and Roberts (and Thomas) will continue to refuse to testify in front of Congress on the evidence of undue access and influence over the courts, and discourage reforms imposing ethics standards and oversight, as the legitimacy of the Supreme Court is destroyed (which is literally—per the founding fathers—the only real power it has). And the Republicans, as Lindsay Graham did earlier this week, will say all the reporting is merely a Democratic attempt to delegitimise the conservative court, refusing to impose any penalties on their golden geese so they can continue to enact incredibly abhorrent (and unpopular!) public policy from the bench, wildly overriding decades (or centuries) of precedent to do it.

As the courts go, so does the nation.

The US citizenry have to make a stand soon, or all will be lost. The 2024 election will be made redundant.
