Frankly if Trump does win and begins to advance some of his more heinous agenda I could see far larger (and at first peaceful) protests that erupt into worse things. Not “storm the capital and hang JD Vance” stuff, but more like 60s-style problems.
Just mass demonstrations in which local/federal law enforcement becomes somewhat overly aggressive and/or some demonstrators do likewise and people get hurt. What happens sometimes when large groups of angry people are protesting and those expected to keep them orderly clash.
