I'm shocked by all these new revelations. Trump must have had a terrible defence lawyer, did she get paid?
Alina Habba. She was paid handsomely, carried on representing him in several cases, all of which she lost. She has been appointed by Trump to a White House position as a personal lawyer. Nice work, if you can get it.

Habba is actually a pretty decent lawyer. Not going with a jury ea probably the right call.

You should expect a little more professionalism from officers of the Court. But in some places, they just can't see past their emotions.

Hypothetical Here:

If it turns out that in investigating Trump's crimes as it relates to January 6th, Liz Cheney and others committed crimes of:

1. Tampering with a witness
2. Coaching witnesses on their testimony
3. Fail to document hearings with law enforcement implicating others.
4. Deleted files after the investigation...

What would you say the government should do? You know, hypothetically.

I guess you're right,

She didn't lie.
So the jury was wrong, and ABC News was wrong to settle.

When the jury in the E. Jean Carroll civil case reached a verdict, it filled out a verdict form. The first question was, “Did Ms. Carroll prove, by a preponderance of the evidence, that Mr. Trump raped Ms. Carroll?” The jury answered, “No.”
