There is a lot going on.

Thankfully most of it is related to the slow unravelling of the coalition of MAGA and the establishment GOP. The disastrous mid terms capped off by the defeat of Walker, a Trump endorsed shit show candidate that neatly illustrated everything wrong with the GOP. As will the election of a speaker where Mccarthy will no doubt pander to the loonies to get enough votes and therefore commit to a total shit show for the next 2 years. That or he won't get elected.

Or the painfully slow justice system dealing with Trump, his attempted coup and his fraudulent businesses.
