Of course, nobody cared about Watergate for a long while. But Nixon wasn’t a cult. And the FBI, DOJ, GOP and the Supreme Court weren’t largely slaves to Nixon’s will. And voters were capable of changing their minds in the face of, you know, information and data.
I don’t believe MAGA will abandon Trump under any circumstances, period. Even if he’s on the list, which he likely is, I believe they will excuse it away based on who else is there, “boys will be boys”, “this is all a lie”, “So what? Biden would still be worse. Along these lines, if you haven't watched the posts I've already cited on this issue above (especially the Bulwark link - the Mediastouch link is much more salacious/speculative but still worth viewing IMO), it's well worth your while to do so. I had no clue about this issue at all until viewing these posts.
I've no idea where this issue will lead - but IMO there's a lot of there, there in this issue - and both Democrats and MAGA want transparency on this issue. Which means - that this issue (complete transparency with regard to the Epstein files) has unique bipartisan, support - and might well cause Trump huge problems.
