Was reading that individual states have been busy enshrining the rights to abortion into state constitutions including a few that have voted Trump like Kentucky, Ohio and Kansas. So not sure if a national ban would be feasible or possible.
A national ban is an “effective” ban.
When you can still get an abortion, but it has to be in the first SIX weeks, then it’s an effective ban, as it is one missed period and most women are not nearly as regular as people think, and would have no idea they were pregnant after SIX weeks.
An effective ban is the closest place to get an abortion is 4 states away, which requires the time and money most women simply cannot afford.
Regardless, it is chilling vote for many people, especially women. One wonders what the Hispanic males were thinking, and I can only hope enough of them are caught up in the supposed 11,000,000 person dragnet Trump wants to cast to find every “illegal” and put them in camps while they await deportation!
I guess he doesn’t understand that the Trump
Voters for whom they work cheap will wonder wtf happened to José when he doesn’t show up for work one day, and they can’t find anyone else to do the job for the price they’re willing to pay!
Then again, when a campaign is based on lies on top of lies on top of lies, there will be plenty of issues that will simply be moved aside now. After all, Trump just won his last campaign and gets to be King for the next 4 years, with a Red Congress and Courts for at least 2 of them, during which time Project 2025 will get enacted and he doesn’t have to worry about living up to his “promises,” like building a 1961 mile border wall. Last time out, with great fanfare, he built 51 miles, most of it repairs to existing walls…and, shocker, Mexico didn’t pay and not a single cult member cared one jot!
Oh holy fuck, what have they done?!
