All I'm saying is that both the last UK election the polls said it would be a hung parliament. Until the final one...Only the BBC called a tory win with a small majority. The Brexit vote was polled as a win for staying in. The people polled said one thing and did another.

The electoral college won't allow for an upset of these proportions. Most of Trump's states have very few electoral votes (KY, TN, AL, MS, LA) he only has Texas and Georgia w/ more than 15. HRC has seven states w/ more than 15 (CA-55, PA-20, NY-29, FL-29, NC-15, MI and IL-20). So basically California counts as much as seven Kentuckys.

For him to make a comeback he'd have to win every close state: Utah, Arizona, Ohio and North Carolina and then turn one or two solid blue states red. Right now he's losing in Arizona, Ohio and North Carolina. And voters in different states have different values so he'd have to appeal to different types of people with the same message which is almost impossible.
