Hahaha this is my favorite picture ever.

If you have been to America you find that most people do not think of much outside their towns let alone their countries. They are so self involved they think the world revolves around them which leads to ignorance. I remember many times being asked to speak "London" when I told people I was from London. These are people who think Manchester is a country I wouldn't be too offended.

Reminds me of when Alan Brazil asked about Bob Monkhouse's health: 1:18 on - CRINGE!

Hahaha.

I remember seeing this. I can't watch it with the sound on cause I'm at work but doesn't he ask how he is then the penny drops and he backtracks quicker than Benny Hill in rewind, pretending he knew all along?
That's pretty much it. Parry got him out of the shit first, but it was a feeble attempt as the damage had been done.
'2 versions I was told'
What, 2 versions of him being dead?
The fact the guy they were interviewing was talking in past-tense pretty gave it away, if indeed Brazil was the last person in the country to find out Monkhouse had died.

I knew this anyway but also the Olympics were terribly covered and only on cable so hardly anyone saw it over there. My US friends said it was pointless watching the coverage as it was on primetime and they already knew the results.

Hahaha that picture is a classic. The kid is like "You are telling me you do not know who Mo Farrah is? woman please!"

Incredible that no research was done prior to interview.

Mo showed dignity there. If it was me I'd ihave made it as awkward as possible for her. Just because of disrespect.
