US Tariff War

There is little to no difference with the US Tariffs and the raising of the Employer's NI contribution. I still cannot believe that Rachel from accounts believes that "the Companies are going to absorb half of it".

I thought it meant that if you claimed that the component was part of a computer then you were exempt. So if HP or Dell are importing plastic parts from China then they are not tarriffed.

If it means the opposite those companies are better off building the computer in Malaysia and importing with the 10% tarrif and increasing the price.

In fact increase the price in any case cause the consumer won't know wtf anyway.

It seems the exception for computers has been unexceptional again. Probably excepted just for Tuesdays, Thursdays and every second month. Everyone's a winner. Yeahhhhh.
 
One thing is clear, the US has gone rogue and cannot he trusted. We need to start investing in our own weapon systems in Europe. Stop buying their stuff and at the same time extend trade deals with current partners, including China. Hit them where it burst and reduce our dependence on their costly weapon systems.

As individuals, buy fuck all from the cunts. Not even a can of Coke. If you’re demented and buy JD, give yourself a shake and buy real fucking whiskey from your better educated and looking cousins north of the walls.
