I love the Yanks and America as a whole, think the brashness and arrogance is somewhat overstated. Having said this i think even as a yank you have to see the arrogance of contesting a world championship with only yank teams involved as is the case in nfl, nba and mlb

Nobody else plays NFL style football except Canada and their whole league is made up of guys who can't make the NFL. Similarly, MLB has all of the best players in the world so it is the world championship.

The NBA sucks.
