I must admit to being perplexed and disappointed regarding the wasted opportunity in terms of progression and recruitment from what has been an expanding number of clubs under the CFG umbrella. Whilst we have seen a degree of traffic with both Girona and Troyes, in the specific development and eventual aquisition of Savinho, other interactions have been infrequent and to certain extent erratic. Certainly, the odd loan out and resale here and there but in terms of attempting to address clearly deficient areas in the MCFC squad little of real value has been incoming. One might have hoped all the CFC clubs would have been tasked with full back development on both flanks since god knows when.

I am aware of the tightening of regulation regarding the flow of players between affiliated clubs but it seems the structural advantage in this area I once perceived is actually highly limited.

I certainly did not expect us to be clinging to a Benjaniesque false hope at the death of any window.

We are the most elite team in the CFG , It's highly unlikely that players at any of the others are going to be of a standard able to play in our team , it was always going to be a way of moving players out and these teams contributing to the profit line in CFG .

we dont send anyone to Troyes imo. compare that to Strasbourg who are part of Chelsea umbrella they are high spenders in Ligue 1 and getting regular stream of Chelsea players on loan even buying some. even likes of Chilwell lol.

Troyes would be better off in Chelsea's group than ours haha

with Girona we have bit more friendly connection albeit thats because Pep's brother is some director or owner in that project too.

Palermo also not aware any player movement to them or from them.

Palermo got Claudio Gomes, plays there since 2022

but it is strange
From what i've seen Troyes has not invested Savio's money and also got 9mil windfall from Mbuemo' sale-on clause

We literally signed McFarlane from NYCFC who is one of the best left backs in his age group if not the best considering his amount of professional games already.

There’s something very iffy about Strasbourg and Chelsea. Some of their dealings are ridiculous and Strasbourg’s late collapse when competing for the champions league spots is more than a little suspicious.

Surprised we didn't send a few out to that Turkish team in Istanbul.
They would have company out there
