Possibly one for the spelling and grammar police, but what words being used in the wrong context wind you up the most?
I am finding it very hard recently not to correct people using worst when the correct word should be worse.
Must be getting into grumpy old man mode early.

You do get out of the habit though i got an o'level in english language but because i don't use the written word everyday spelling and grammar have gone out of the window a bit.

Plus a lot of times you type and submit without checking, as long as it makes some sort of sense it's no biggy

Damp squid.
'Got another thing coming' (it's think, as wrong as it sounds)

Not necessarily.

Both can be used but most people use "thing"

My Mrs says "Yous" as a plural of you - "What are yous doing?". I pull her up on it all the time as it really bugs me.

You can take a bird out of Salford, but you'll never take the Salford out of a bird.

I must admit that it really annoys me when I see people write "yous" on here.
