I was with a friend earlier who was going on about the footie tonight, how hard it would be for the Scum to get through etc etc. I told him that I hoped they lost. He then remembered I was a City fan and said you've got to support any British team in Europe...I said I would support British teams in Europe but I could never bring myself to support the Scum end of!

i would never support any english team in europe the financial benfits of a suceesfull european run for any english team is massive, and these are teams we are trying to catch, so any sucess for them makes our ambitions even harder,

Sorry boys im guilty I will always want an English side or even British side to that matter to win over a foreign one.

if it was a level playing field i might agree but the whole system is set up to keep the rich clubs at the top of the tree and keep them richer than everyone else and every time they have any sucess it makes it harder for us to catch them, if they were just winning the trophy then fine but it is the £100m that goes with it i dont want them to have

Thats a valid reason you only have to look at Luckypool when everton finished 4th, don't get me wrong I will never be gutted if a team other than City lose but I dont think i could will another british team to lose in Europe with the exception of the Rags and thats only cos of the plastic in you face unknolageable don't know who there playing next week and only been supporting since fergie era fans, not Man yoo its self

because most united fans have no connection whatsoever to manchester, many have never been either.

most people who support city and arent from manchester seem to have some sort of connection, they've either lived here or support them through family. i live here so theres mine!

I'll always support any other British team in Europe except the RAGS. Why the fook would I ever want our most hated rivals winning anything so some cnut in the office can sit there gloating about how great they are. There players are scum, there fans are scum and karma says the will lose to Chelsea on pens tranny to miss
