I gave it to Ake for a great performance all round, albeit simple and steady. I thought Phil was trying to hard and a bit out of sorts for chunks of the first half. But bloody hell, what a second half show from him!

I absolutely adore the way he plays a derby like every one of us would.

He takes ultimate pleasure out of battering the cunts.

No doubt in my mind the kid is nailed on for our POTS.

I’ve said this on here since he was 17, he’s got everything to be the best footballer on the planet. It’s going to happen.

On a pitch with some great players on it he stood out a mile.
