There was a time when a LC last 16 game against the rags was do or die. But things have moved on in my opinion. Apart from a preseason game this is the least important clash between the two sides of Manchester/suburb that we could have. We have a few injuries already and have two far more important games that we really need to win coming up. We need to pick a team that will be prepared to battle but there is no reason why we can't rest a few lads.

I think that is total bollocks it's a Manchester derby, you put out your strongest team and crush the bast*#ds, don't give me that shi#e about bigger fish to fry, if a lads injured fine , but if fit they okay and play to win, I could not give two fooks if you think it's just the league cup .. We are the fooking holders, and you don't care if we get beat by the rags, all defeats are sh*t ,league,CL,and the cups but a loss to them sting's like fook. So I would like just a little more from my manager and team for this match . Not a lot to ask as a fan ffs!? Ohh and I'm happy as fook fella it's my day off and so is tomoz so happy days!

Cliche..Yes it's only the EFL cup but a win there would do us wonders to stop the 'rot' atm and bring back the belief & confidence..The signs were there since the Swansea cup game that the mentality issues and loss of concentration were creeping back slowly..We need to win tomorrow though..Not easy to 'pick it up' all over a sudden in the coming fixtures vs teams that will be out to frustrate us(Barca game aside) ie.WBA,Boro,Burnley.
Would take any sort of win atm..even pens.
The more controversial the win,the better.
