Pep is used to having 6-8 derbies a year with Madrid, I don't think he'll care about winning this one anything like as much as the fans.

I think we'll see how little pressure pep is under when he rotates a lot.

Surely he deserves a break?
I can also see Kompany starting with Otemendi

He does but I just can't bring myself to start Fernando against Man Utd. That's a possibility with Kompany but I was of the assumption he was being eased in.

a) he's not in Madrid any more
b) why the heck are we paying him a fortune if he doesn't care about winning???????????? He should be wanting to win every game, just as much as the fans!! In fact maybe even more than the fans!!!

He's not an idiot and knows he has to rest players for more important fixtures and use the whole squad. This isn't a video game, the players are knackered after 3 hard games on the bounce.

I still think they will go with their best team,to me that is whatshisname and spotty boy not beaky,we will give 1 goal at least with willy in goal so we need to be decent upfront

and we must never forget the smug remarks off the likes of Terry Christian and Eamonn fucking Holmes and to the horse meat seller and the ginger one Hucknall,,,,i hope we chuck the kitchen sink at them,,i seriously would not bat an eyelid if old bobby choked to death on his false choppers when our first goes in

Read my mind-get in there!

Feeling nervous about this one.

They will go full strength and we won't so I can't see us winning.

full strength and knock the fuckers out. I don't want that lot winning anything this year and this cup is their only chance.

I think they have greater depth to their squad, which means that they can rotate more easily without significantly weakening their side. That, and home advantage, definitely gives them the edge. Hopefully Guardiola will pick a stronger side than expected, but it's understandable that he'll prioritise West Brom and Barcelona ahead of this one.
