Uwe

Great guy, I remember he got the winner on my only ever visit to Maine Road, a 1-0 against West Brom in Joe Royle's second match in charge. He was one of the few shining lights in a very dark era for the club. Peter Beardsley played that day as well, I think he was about 37 at the time!

Forgot to + it didnt I, tit.
Loved Uwe, loved his attitude, and the saying 'Uwes grandad bombed Old Trafford'

Who was it against when he threw his boots into the crowd after scoring?

this is the first goal i ever saw city score! i was 8

Just watched this on Sky+. What a guy! His love for City and antipathy for united were obvious. It was good to see the clips of him too, I forgot just what a good finisher he was. Pity he was often surrounded by some proper rubbish players, especially once Horton had gone.
