Vaccination Passport | Fans will be denied entry without valid NHS pass

Dont see the point in the passports. Doesn't mean that if you have a passport you're not infected or can't pass it on to others. And after a while the protection offered by the vaccines will decrease anyway.

If its such a high risk to go to the football, make everyone get a negative test or play it behind closed doors.

I suspect they’ll be back to playing in empty grounds before long :(

I'm off to the Toon at the weekend and tickets are through the Supporters Club, not seen a form as yet (and what a waste of time that is anyway)

The legislation doesn’t require every person is checked provided that the event organiser is satisfied there is no risk to public health.
It’s not reasonable to check everyone and that rightly won’t happen.
Big fuss over nothing in the football and was embarassing to see the gutter press once again pushing the agenda last night that the checks weren’t thorough enough.
As has been made, these “passes” aren’t useful at all. Self declared test results and having the jab which doesn’t stop you having it.

They are fine. It's over 18's

This means that entry requirements for Premier League matches have now changed and supporters over the age of 18 cannot attend a match without a valid NHS COVID Pass or a negative COVID-19 test result (SMS or email, which has been registered with the NHS),
Does it need to be the NHS Covid pass or will I be able to use an EU digital covid certificate?

Unvaccinated fans have no restrictions on entry.
They just need a lateral flow test.
Presumably players do too.
