Our cleaner broke our Miele (I suspect it had a "nasty fall down the stairs") She said her hubby would repair or replace it - though a nasty-looking museum piece of a dyson has turned up in it's place. Can I sue her or take the money from her exorbitant wages?

Unfortunately the only appropriate clothing would be substantial, though I do like her guttural polish tone.

On the Ewbank issue, we used to have a wooden one - god I must be old...
