Value seasoncards sold out

I'm sorry for being repetitive but I was under the impression that this was a one season wonder sort of thing? Yet it's back again this season albeit under different guise, with 'gold' added to its name for good measure. Wonder if it will be back next year and then each subsequent year with a small increase to reflect inflation etc? hmmmmm..........

Here to stay surely, a ready pool of single seats that they can use to fill the gaps....

No brainer if you ask me

I'm quite surprised that they took 5 days to sell out.. Perhaps the "allocated on arrival" type scenario is what puts people off but after sitting in every tier, I don't think there's actually a bad seat in the house

For £260 they're not much more (£55) than my nearest club (while we remain exiled) Stafford Rangers

Hopefully, it's the cheapest season ticket around for single lads on low cash.

Well done the club.

Dont get me wrong think its great city flogging these at this price, but wouldnt they had got rid of them after the renewal dates were up to new customers at full price seen as theres suppose to be a big waiting list?

The thing is that they know in advance which groups of seats are available, in our case, there was only me renewing out of three (Dad and Brother) due to finances.... Sure there will be more in the same boat. I was going to buy the platinum and sit next to a mate but no idea if the seat was even available so I'm taking a punt on the value card, next season I might change but like my brother said, it's a lottery, you could get the half way line, no certainty that it'll be top tier but I'm happy to be there! It's gonna be a great season, building on this years successes.......

Going back to the away tickets question, surely the common sense move in that respect would be to offer one tier or both tiers in the first instance with no option to get more? As in, once the decision is made they have to stick with it? Means we can then sell the surplus to home fans if there is one.

Thats what liverpool, spuds, chelsea and arsenal do. When city take the lower allocation at arsenal and chelsea, they imediately go on sale to there own fans. The said teams have a waiting list for home match tickets and know that they can shift any not taken up. City havent been in this position. Recently when we have sold the upper away tier to our own fans we have not sold out. It will be interesting to see what happens this season, whether the demand is there or not.

i've heard that away fans are being moved up to level 3. Anyone else?

I think its fair to say that isn't going to happen as everyone who had a seasonticket in there would have been told by now that they couldn't renew in the same seat.
