Haven't spoken to my mate who's a Bayern fan today but I'm sure he's delighted, great manager.

Van Gaal is great moulding teams out of good young players ( see Ajax and AZ ), but has struggled when dealing with superstars.

His strict schoolteacher methods dont work with superstars ( see Barcelona and dutch national team ) and I wouldnt guarantee he will be a success at Bayern
