We will be in the market for a hi profile striker i presume in the summer and out off the them to who would you think would partner Sergio better? Rubbish about sergio going real madrid is funny Spain Italy or Germany can come calling but get the check book out if you want one off the our strongest 11.

Van persie would be free if we could get him and with tevez off the wage bill come summer and we dam hope then we could go for it his record this season is something else.

I remember sergio interview when he signed in Dublin and he laughed and said he wanted levezzi to join him here and he impressed me hugely when we played them to

Lavezzi because you can still play him and 2 strikers.

Van Persie won't be free, it is next year that is the last year on his contract, not this one.

He still wouldn't be cheap, just like Nasri wasn't with 12 months left.

Lavezzi would be a great signing because of his versatility and I think he might suit a Mancini team even more than the highly rated Hazard. We only need someone like Van Persie (or Cavani) really if the manager decides to sell Dzeko I think as we will have Aguero, Dzeko, Balotelli, and Guidetti next season probably.

If we had Lavezzi we could play two wingers if we needed impact, him and Johnson (if he isn't sold).

How would RVP be free? His contract still has 18 months to run, it ends in 2013.

Yeah think he would suit mancini also come on city send tevez napoli for levezzi that would be nice

Lavezzi IMO, we desperately need pace in the side. I watched Napoli play Milan today for a bit and whilst at times he can be greedy he offers lots of speed and creates many chances.

Van Persie whilst currently probably the most in demand striker at the moment will be 29 at the start of next season and for a striker he will be at his peak now. We want a stiker who is just coming into their peak or someone like Mario; young and promising.

I think Wenger will leave Arsenal in the Summer and if you want my opinion taking Van Persie with him will be part of the deal in becoming the new Real Madrid manager now Mourinho wants to leave.

We need wingers in the summer and Lavezzi, Bale, Hazard and Ribery to name a few should be on the wanted list

Lavezzi.

Anyone know what his contract is like? Thought I saw somewhere it runs to 2015 >>

Yep 2015, supposed buyout clause of €30m though I'm not sure if that's true or not.

Lavezzi for me. If one of our strikers were to leave for some reason this summer though I'd take RVP in a heartbeat.

Apparently it's true according to the independent
Napoli's president mocks Mancini over plan to sign Lavezzi. Mancini's claim that Lavezzi's €30m (£26m) buyout clause is too high. I'd have him over Hazard got bags of pace, strong and got great work rate think he is more suited to the Premier league than Hazard who would cost more. I'm sure if we were interested he would probably ring Zabba up but dealing with the Napoli president would be a nightmare. It depends if they get a champions league spot because if they don't it will increase our bargaining power.

It'll be interesting to see what happens in the summer with Napoli's 'big 3' because at this point, I can't see Napoli getting back into the CL. I don't think 26m is that crazy for a player of Lavezzi's caliber but somewhere around 20m would be more realistic. We'd end up paying more for Hazard anyway.

it really is a shame that for most clubs not going to the Champions League means you must sell your best players.

It's a bad system.

RVP is a great player but doesn't fit in with our buying model due to his age. No doubt he would score for us but looking at over £20 million for a player that is 29 at the start of next season, he also has a n injury list longer than the A1

Lavezzi can't score, the goal record of a full back.
Watched him against Milan yesterday, had an absolute stinker.
I really don't get the fuss about this player.

Mancini would have to sell either Dzeko or Balotelli if we're getting another top-class striker next season.

He has a hard time giving the existing three enough minutes (exception now but only cause Balo is injured)...

You cannot just pile up world-class players and then keep them on the bench. These guys want to PLAY.

I am not saying pile them all up on the bench far from it but next season we will be fighting for the premier leauge f.a cup carling cup champions leauge and do you really think Mario dzeko and sergio is anough to fight for all for front? I love Mario but he will be sent off then its down to sergio if dzeko not scoring. Bobby has made it clear ade Santa cruz and tevez won't play for him again so we must get someone else in. Everyone won't agree but without Mario and dzeko not playing well i think we are light up front

What about john guidetti, I cant see us buying another striker unless we sell either ballotelli or Dzeko
