WIth Vaping duty coming in to force on the 1st October (£2.20 on a 10ml bottle plus VAT) what are those that are vaping planning on doing?
Continuing to Vape? Back to the fags? Give up totally?

I like to kill myself the old fashioned way although I have cut down dramatically on the coffin sticks these days, but vape users could have expected no less could they?

Make it as cheap as you like extol the health benefits and when you have the population hooked tax them to the hilt, standard practice from any government.

The likelihood is it is but there’s probably not enough factual evidence yet to prove this as they haven’t been around enough years. One thing for certain though, there’s more children using vapes than there ever were smoking cigarettes and something has to be done to deter/stop that even if it’s by increasing the price.

It's purely anecdotal rather than based on numbers, but it seems to me like there are also a lot more adults vaping then there were/are adults smoking?

It became somewhat of a trend and for some the new must-have accessory, before you know it 75% of the adult population are addicted to rechargeable Chupa Chups.

Given that vaping hasn't been around for that long there isn't enough data to make those kind of claims.
