I would love to see the VAR questionnaire that is being sent out to PL Clubs, will the questions be the sort that we the fans would want answering.

Also will they have the guts to publish the results I suspect that even the Clubs that we perceive to be benefitting from the system, will be highly critical of the way it is working.

It'll be on-line with pre-determined answers e.g;-

Q1 How well do you think the Premier League is utilising VAR?
  • Extremely Very Well
  • Very Very Very Well
  • Very Very Well
  • Very Well

VAR just exposes stupid mistakes from refs which they could easily cover without it.
Now, VAR is not perfect, not because of the technology, but because of the REFs who use the technology (Foden's rejected pen was a prime example).

We still feel annoyed by the final result of using it, but it will make football better over time. It would be fairer because now we can see mistakes from refs and discuss it more clearly with multiple angles from recorded videos (while before, we only use our "feeling" to discuss). So it will force refs have to improve their quality, and it's good in the long term.
Have you not noticed, they only use multiple angles when it suits.

Last season it was Operation Get the Rags into Top 4, now it seems VAR is being used to get the dippers there.

I watched the Wolves game last night and saw the injury to Rui Patricio.

As soon as the ball was played through to Salah, it was clear it was an offside as when the goal was scored, the linesman immediately put his flag up. He didn't pause, consult the ref or anything - straight up.

If the game had stopped when the linesman had raised his flag the would have blown his whistle and the game stopped. As a result, Rui Patricio wouldn't be waking up this morning in hospital with a horrendous head injury.

This has happened directly because of VAR messing with the game.
