Var debate 2019/20

I’ll have to watch again but I thought it was a penalty at first viewing. It also led to what should have been a goal so it really did need VAR.

Villa have unfairly been screwed over.
Maybe. I still think the biggest talking point should be the Newcastle goal. Exactly thane same as the goals disallowed for City and Wolves. Have they starting using the real wording of the law (in which case all 3 should have stood)?

It’s the wall of silence from all concerned that’s worrying. That and not ONE decision overturned.

Just looked it up & it's 'part of' each foot touching or behind the line, so you can have most of your feet on the pitch.

Was any of his foot on the line ?
What a heap of wank, half his foot is on the pitch.

Take the sidelines away then, no need for them sure.

He was fouled twice. Pushed outside the box then had his legs taken inside.
Ok. Trouble is though, the way this is working, no VAR would give that. They’d not only have to overrule their colleague on the penalty but he’d have to rescind the yellow. Not happening.
Maybe they did VAR officials to only do that and not use the existing closed shop of referees?
