VAR Discussion Thread

More blatant lies from VAR. Haaland was fouled but only before the ball was in play so no penalty! When the ball was put in play he was still on the floor 30 seconds later so was unable to take part. Are we to get consistency on this ruling from VAR? If the Arsenal blockers are flattened before a corner is taken no penalty will be awarded ?
Every other game the ref won't let the corner be taken before he's told everyone in the area "i'm boss and i'm watching"
Then turns to the corner taker to proceed.
So Haaland getting rugby tackled was either ignored by the ref or he was happy for it to happen.
Corner comes in and Haaland is lay on the grass, unlucky City is VAR/Howard Webbs new version of the melees until it happens in a game not concerning City taking the corner

It's happening every League game. Opponents can kick pull push and do whatever they need to do. Zero punishment.

If Haaland scores that 1st goal. VAR chops it off 100% guaranteed.

Watch if City wrestle a player to the ground v Newcastle before the corner is taken. Definitely see a penalty awarded.
However none of that excuses a pish poor 2nd half performance

No one is talking about a poor second half ffs. We are talking about a system that fucks us over time and time again. The rags have had a piss poor season never mind a poor second half but look at their var calls.

I'm fucking sick of double standards. How do we know the foul was before the kick was taken ? I dont trust that bent shower of shit.

If we show some ability in the 2nd half then the dodgy VAR calls won't matter. We haven't scored a goal in the 2nd half of a League game this year FFS. So wind yer neck in wee man.

It’s bent as fuck this league
I’ve had enough of it

A 5cm rule was invented to allow a Liverpool goal to stand v Fulham a few weeks ago

Today a Fulham goal is ruled out that doesn’t even look offside it’s that tight. Where’s the 5cm rule?

Benefit the big clubs with most fans at all times keep the tv numbers up til May
His arm was off. According to laws of the game you can only be off with a part of the body you can score with. Ummmm

We've spent I don't know how many seasons having to be better than the team against us and the ref and Var.
Yes we played poorly in both halves but that is for the match day thread.
This thread is titled Var Discussion Thread not We Played Shit in The Second Half Thread.

We are discussing the fact that 2 men hauled Haaland down. The ref and his wanker with the flag didn't see it, Var decided the mauling was before the ball had been kicked and instead of 2 bookings and a retaken corner they get a goal kick.

We are definitely refereed and Vard differently and it's so fucking annoying it's driving Blues insane.

More like Another week goes by when we say "we can see exactly what is the fucking point of VAR"

To allow PGMOL to influence and control the outcome of games clearly.

Rags benefit from it, other teams fucked over by it.

What more is there to consider, clear and obvious .

4-5 smallest players on half way line. The keeper and 5 big lads push every arsenal player over in the box after whistle and before taker kicks it . Perfect

You can play poorly and still win. If a referee allows a goal to the opposition that shouldnt be given we are perfectly entitled to feel hard done by. Even if we didnt play well on the day.

And if it happens week after week...

According to Fulham's manager, VAR went to great lengths to find something for the rags today. The ref had awarded the rags a penalty for a foul - VAR overturned it because the defender got the ball first. But VAR then went back in play and found a shirt pull outside the area and instructed the ref to award a freekick - from which they scored. VAR was only supposed to check the error in awarding the penalty - nothing else.
