VAR Thread - 2021/22

Watching Sheff Utd match, it’s ridiculous some of the decisions that a ref has to guess on.
Brum player blocks shot with his hands, clear handball. Ref waves it away.

for me, watching games without VAR makes me realise why VAR (which isnt great by a long stretch) but why it’s needed.
So just you then.

VAR Is so important to the PL that the new head Lee Mason won't be overseeing the first round of games because he's on holiday according to talkshite.

Job for the boys anyone?

So just you then.

you would have preferred Salahs offside goal to stand weekend ?

you would prefer Perez dangerous high footed tackle to go unpunished ?

there just couple games I saw this weekend, VAR is getting loads right and I’ve always said it will look at ways to improve - and it has ,
All the knicker wetting that VAR has killed football was a load of rubbish.

it’s not perfect, no system is - mistakes will still happen, there will always be controversy but it’s much better than all these decisions going unnoticed or wrongly called by a clueless ref with zero help.

I'd have preferred City's perfectly good goal to have stood. The ref had a clear view of the alleged foul and didn't give a free kick but the Var idiot decided he needed to interfere.
I would prefer it if the clueless idiot in the middle was not the clueless idiot on Var for the next game.
I would prefer it if Lee Mason was not looked after by his bent mates.
I would prefer it to be as good as it was during the Euros when competent people ran it.

But in fairness ,last night the ref waved away the assault by Perez.

Another weekend another load of VAR shite. Chelsea and Wolves done over, no need to ask who benefitted
