I thought he'd be mint this year and score for fun but Happy Harry seems to prefer Bobby (1 goal a season) Zamora who can throw his weight about a bit.

Sanchez at Arsenal tried to get them to sign Vargas once he signed as he said he's that good to play with (as they both play for Chile). If he doesn't get many chances I can't see him staying in the prem and sadly think he'll end up somewhere like Italy at Inter/AC or something.

I rate him highly and reckon given a proper chance could score 15/20+ a season.

He was being used up front but did nothing so harry pulled him back a bit. Looks a much better player now. Probably could do the goal scoring job well with better players around him.
