he dididnt dominated the league, actually he did no more than a five or six impressive performances all over the season. His "stamina" doesnt let him even run after 60 minutes on the pitch and next season he is also going to struggle entering the first eleven as Galatasaray just captured Kader Keita from O. Lyon. Rijkaard have no reason to chose Kewell, he has also an Arda Turan in the team ... arguably Frank Rijkaard will make Galatasaray play a 4-3-3 and the forward three seems to be chosen this way ;Layles said:n_mcfc said:I think it's pretty obvious why he signed for them after years of hatred from some of the cocks that follow us, he's now a hero!
Matt Derbyshire and Darius Vassell will be battling it out for the Golden Boot in Turkey, I kid you not!
dont forget harry kewell
he's dominating in turkey, made the league his own
Kader Keita - Milan Baros - Arda Turan

I have also a few words for Darius Vassel signing. Tough most of you don't have any idea : ) , the Ankaragücü FC. is not a higly reputated team in the Turkish Super League. Aproximetaley in the standards of Portsmouth etc..
Last season Ankaragücü were just few points away from relegation zone and they are one of the -lets say- poor teams in the league. For example, if Darius joined Galatasaray or Fenerbahçe; their fans will not even follow for his arrival on the T.V. news. But for a team like Ankaragücü; lets say "small" , his name is glorius. And as everbody mentioned, he will be the hero of Ankara.
On the other hand, just as the opposite as many of you think to be; Turkish Super League is not an all-easy one. The three big boys; Besiktas, Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe has hundred million dollar budgets on thier hand and aiming for league championships and champions league finals. Darius -if he is going going to have- will face a difficult race in the division to be the top-goal scorer. His rivals are Fenerbahçe's Daniel Guiza (previous goalscorer in LaLiga in front of Eto'o.), Galatasaray' s Milan Baros (last goal scorer of Turkish premier league) and Besiktas' Nihat Kahveci (joined back this season, from La Liga, Villareal).
