VDV is a attacking midfielder and thats it... no winger BIG FAIL (hes to slooooow for wingplay)
Silva though can play both attacking midfield and winger

They're quite different styles from th few times i've seen them, thinking of a comparison, Silva is like Modric and VDV is like Krancjar. Silva is small and nippy, can beat players, plays short, neat, intricate passes, whereas VDV sprays it around a bit more, taks free-kicks and corners, got a powerfull shot on him, but both play the same sort of position.
