Veganism

I don't understand why anyone wants to inflict veganism upon themselves, no meat, dairy, milk, or fish is
contrary to how humans developed, and needing supplements to avoid looking like death warmed up, doesn't
inspire me I'm afraid. No problem with those who've decided to go for it anyway, eat privets and daisies if that's what
you want, but I prefer to see countryside filled with sheep and cows, I don't fancy causing their extinction.

Well...

For starters, methane is a green house gas - much, much more potent than CO2. Apparently, cows/sheep and so forth contribute a big part to global warming due to methane emission.

Secondly - animal cruelty comes into play - killing living beings - is cruel. No two ways about it.

And yet, humans are omnivores. We are genetically predisposed to feed off a mixture of vegetables and meat.

Fortunately, test tube meat is on the horizon. Methane emission free; not cruel to living beings; and, eventually, tasty well. Moreover, test tube meats can be engineered to be largely fat free - a healthy source of protein.

Soylent Green?

Soylent Green?
Really? Or in jest?

Because quite honestly, why wouldn't you favor consumption of delicious test tube meat over veganism or slaughter of living animals?

If you're worried about taste - I can guarantee you that science will ultimately make test tube meats that taste better than chicken/tuna/steak and so on.

They've had thirty years of trying to make a good veggie burger or a nut loaf, both still suck. Can't see something out of a Petri dish being much better. Meat and potatoes for me, hopefully be dead before I'm forced to eat that other shit
