Vegetarians - Meat replacements

Linda McCartney sausages aren't very nice. They can be really dry. Best ones, or at least closest to meat sausages (from what I can recall), are probably Richmonds.

I have tried most if not all of the meatless sausages and bacon or quorn minces and I can't quite take to them. IMO you can't beat a good old fashioned vegetable in all its glory.

Spices are a veggies friend here, foods from India, they've been at this a lot longer than we have I suppose and have nailed it.

Whenever I make meat-free meals, I certainly do not get a meat style non-meat replacement.

Indeed. And your namesake, Mexico, or more precisely Native Mexicans and Native Americans, nailed meet free meals.

They grew squashes, beans, and corn (called the Three Sisters) together in the same patches of soil as each of them grow better when they’re together and make the soil more fertile. And they make dishes using all three together.

Three Sister’s Stew is a favourite of mine.

Just watching a program on Channel 4 about Good Harvest meat, wow, just fucking wow.
Desperate people selling flesh from various parts of there bodies which in turn is grown into slabs of meat for human consumption.
They even have a premium meat from under 7 years of age donors.
I'm not often lost for words, but this appalled me.

The only one I find acceptable is Linda McCartney vegetarian quarter pounder burgers.
