viagogo

I'm frustrated. Have tried to buy two adult seat for Monday evening. Because Me and I friend have no history at viagogo we can't buy there. My friend has been a Blue since 1972! It's 18 unsold plages With tickets at viagogo. It's less than 48 hours to the match! How can we get seats??? Buy two tickets on livefootballtickets to 105 pr seat + fee???? I

it is a shit website.

I've tried buying a ticket for a friend who's come over from Switzerland.

It clearly says on the ticket section when I select the ticket that I am eligible for 6 tickets.

I order the tickets, and it goes through. a minute later I get an email saying: Cancelled.

As my Seasoncard does not meet the criteria??? so some body who's never been to Manchester before, let alone City, can order a ticket and come over for the event... but a Manc who's lived in Gtr manchester all his life can't order a ticket for someone else who's also manchester born and bred (living in Switzerland for 5yrs)

Shit website.

They are utter crap

I just bought a ticket - they confirmed the card was accepted then told me by email to my updated email address that the transaction is cancelle.

Phoned up

They said email agrees quoted is wrong (they had old one in records) even though they had emailed the new address

Then told me I had rung the wrong number even thomits the one on the bottom of their email

Then I rang the new number and got the same bloody woman

They have put the phone down twice and have promised to call back - wont hold my breath!!!

Now blaming the club saying that as I'm a season card holder I can't buy a ticket for my use coz the club won't allow it.

Bet the person who wanted to sell the tkt is well impressed!

Here's how Liverpool do it, via a ticket exchange. <a class="postlink" href="http://www.liverpoolfc.com/tickets/ticket-exchange" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.liverpoolfc.com/tickets/ticket-exchange</a>

As a Season Ticket Holder there will be times when you cannot make it to a Barclays Premier League home match, due to holidays or other commitments. If so, don't let your seat go empty and lose out on the opportunity to receive credit against the cost of your Season Ticket next summer.

Use the online Ticket Exchange service to release your ticket. You can use this service as many times as you want during the season.

The released ticket will be made available to LFC Official Members to purchase once all of the Club's allocation is sold. Season Ticket holders who successfully re-sell their Season Ticket seat will have their Season Ticket Members Card deactivated for that match only.

You can put your Season Ticket into the Ticket Exchange once the game is advertised on the online ticketing system right up until kick-off (Adult/Junior combined Season Tickets must be returned as a pair of tickets)So, even if you can't make it to the match at short notice, you may still have the opportunity to receive credits against the cost of your Season Ticket.

You can check online if your ticket has been sold at anytime before the match. If it has not been sold and you decide you would like to attend the match you can do so by re-booking your ticket. Your Season Ticket Members Card will then be re-activated for that match.

If your ticket has been sold and you decide you would like to attend the match you will need to purchase a paper ticket (if available) at full price. Your Season Ticket Members Card will not be re-activated. However you will receive credit against the cost of your Season Ticket at the Ticket Exchange amount.

The credit value of the ticket sold (actual credit amounts are outlined below) will be held in your Season Ticket Holder's online account until the end of the season and then deducted from the Season Ticket renewal price for the following season.

Now why can't we do that?

The only downside would be it'll clog up the system and would make it hard for new people to become season ticket holders, if you can use the service as many times as you like throughout the season people will keep using rather than give up their ST to someone that could make it to every game.

I agree in principle for the odd game but i think people would take the piss and block a regular from being able to go?

Well we could put a limit of five or six times a season on, as we do with viagogo, or refuse to renew tickets where the holder has clearly taken the piss. Easy enough to do.

Yeah, i think that would work

I do like the idea that any money you get for your ticket goes in to your account and gets deducted from the following seasons ticket

When you buy a ticket on Viagogo (as I've just done for the Chelsea game) do you get points on it? I've never been particularly clear about this, and there's sort of a contradiction between the Cityzens portal and my account information on the general ticket section. Can anyone enlighten?
