I saw him play for the reserves once at Hyde, i thought he looked quite decent..

I also saw him play in a friendly against Preston, he jumped for a header from a corner and it was cleared off the line. The header was so hard, it nearly knocked the defender into the back of the net..

Was never really given a chance after that by Keegan..
 
Keegan never actually trying him out was a disgrace in my opinion, especially given the fee paid for him at the time.
 
When he was here I was in the pub that used to be behind the athletics arena. The one that was part brickwork part mold.
Mexican TV were there filming for some odd reason. They collared me because I was wearing my shirt and had me sit around the table with others while the presenter did his little bit and the camera turned to us and we had to cheer Vuosos name. Willing him to score or something.
The most stupid part was I was the only City fan. All the others around the table were Wigan fans. All in Wigan shirts.
Needless to say he didn't score that day. Don't even think he made an appearance.

I agree with other posters, he was never given at chance, ....... mainly because he was shite !
I was at Hyde one night when he messed up badly and went down pretenting to be injured and Asa Hartford ran out the dug out along the touchline hurling abuse at him.
 
Saw vuoso play a couple of times at Hyde. Think he scored once but only because the ball ricocheted off his head and went in. Other than that he was bobbins.
Always wondered about that deal...
