Always, all the time. I am surprised many footballers have not copied that technique, it was so effective.
Maybe it is too hard to replicate, especially for the non-gifted players. Ozil was sublime, mentally and technically gifted.

Are we planning on changing the system to 2 up top? Because I do not see him come in as a bench warmer, whether we rate him or not. Many teams out there want him as a starter. Liverpool, United, Chelsea or Arsenal can have him.

I agree, Haaland gets injured we are f****, especially if KdB keeps breaking apart every 2-games. We would cope with the false-9 system, provided everyone is fit and firing at all cylinders, unfortunately Rodri is out till end of the season.

Gyokeres won’t come to City just to sit on the bench and wait for Haaland to get injured. The only way he joins is if Pep guarantees him game time by adjusting the system to play him and Haaland as double 9s, meaning City would play with two strikers up top in most games. Will Pep want that? I don’t know.

We had an opportunity to bring in Kyogo or Griezmann in the summer window—two players who would not complain about game time, players who would easily fit our style of play. Griezmann, especially, could play as a 9, 10, 11, or 8 and is a high-scoring, technically gifted player with a great assist record.
Instead we chose to be the net spend champions, rather than destroy the premier league by strengthening our squad and staying ahead of the pack!
