In my opinion Delap will end being a top striker/ arguably better than Gyokeres, however we need someone willing to play back up to Haaland.

Why would Gyokeres come to city to sit on the bench. Hes not going to challenge Haaland or replace him. Unless we play two up front, he’d end up being another Alvarez.

Because we play one up front and Haalands the best striker in the world. Gykores would have to be ok not starting in the bigger games.

I agree we need a striker, but for me a younger player like Delap makes more sense

agreed , we need a nkunku / joao pedro type of player who could put a shift pretty much everywhere upfront, don't need the same profile as haaland

Getting one similar to Haaland and to really push him is a pipe dream rather than a realistic one. Pep didn't want Kyoto who wasn't that expensive and might have been decent cover.
