He played for the England U19's against Slovakia earlier this year, he was very good then too, a talented youngster.

That was the point.. All the young players mentioned are for sale and thats why they were played. NW even said yesterday that he was playing them so teams could view them, he even said he hoped City would be interested in a few! They are fuck with regards to cash so they have to sell their pospects to bigger clubs. Buy a few then loan them back to get the experiance in the Championship.

Moses and Soares looked decent, didn't see enough of Smith really. Good pace, but they were well up for it last night so may not have quite that impact every week.
No benefit in buying them imo - they'd be sat in the reserves and that's unfair on them and their development. Best place for them is Palace for a while yet - they'll learn a lot about the game, improve their end product and if they really are that good, shine through regardless.

Lol Soares plays for Stoke now you must mean Sears, I was proud of my teams effort against a very strong City line up!!! Most of us expected the big guns to be rested last night but what a good test it proved for our lads, It's been said many times on our boards it's a shame we couldnt play like that every week!!!!!! <a class="postlink" href="http://www.holmesdale.net" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">www.holmesdale.net</a> you can post without registration on the come and have a go section.

Just tried to log on to post this from the Liverpool game, was great reading the Match thread had a good laugh about how many City fans counted us out and dis respected our endeavours anyway all were proved wrong and we sent the Dippers as you call them packing! Must say how disgusted I was with their support especially after Hillsborough!!
