Reminds me of de jong, does his job but is extremely limited. No where near our level.

I don't think he's limited at all...in fact he's technically really quite sound. He scores goals, is strong as an ox, is fantastically well composed, and all this is in the role of CDM, a role normally very limited by its very nature, ironically.

Better than fernando of last season imo, hope his recovery from that long lasting groin injury puts paid to that mind.

Last time i watched victor play mind, he played with swagger, i havent seen this from fernando once. Would be a good signing at the age he is.

Going off his play at Celtic I think he would be a great signing...Only 24yrs old...Strong, quick and can score a few goals! He didnt have his best year last season at Southampton but do think he's got enough potential for us to take a look..He's got 2 years left on his current deal but Southampton are offering him a new 5yr deal but doesnt look like he's interested to sign it as wants a move.....

I know this only youtube highlights but I think this video shows what he could offer...

Agree with this. He's an average player and we need a top DM.

I agree he's not world class but think he has a better skill set than Fernando and alot better movement skills....Not the "top class" CM we would need but would be an upgrade if we looking to buy "2nd level" midfielder to replace Fernando....in my opinion!;)

Is decent not average? He's not exceptional in any area of play.
