Vidal

GH is right. $73m = £43m

Regardless of the truth of the report, is he really worth that? I don't suppose it matters that much if you've got £750m sponsorship deals, and paying over the odds inflates the transfer mkt and makes it more difficult for your rivals

I had hoped that Utd would buy Ronaldo this Summer and use up their entire transfer budget on the most over rated player on the planet at this moment

Ronaldo may have underachieved with Portugal but he was immense for Real Madrid last season and will guarantee you 30 goals a season at least.

Vidal could be the difference for United, him and Yaya are the best two box to box midfielders in the world for me.

Shaqiri subject to a possible bid/deal from Juve as negotiations are in progress with Bayern. This speculation (Calciomercato reliability rating 6/10).

If this is true then Vidal may well be on his way to The Swamp. Juve, as I have said earlier in this thread will not accept a € less than €60m, When the 1st derisory bid came in the Juve management were reported to be shocked at the puniness of United's offer.

They will probably accept €60m in cash.

Referring to Nani, Conte was keen to bring him in but the rest of the Juve board had doubts about his committment as many rag supporters have been for the last couple of seasons. That, and the price which they want which combined with the wage demands made him a non starter in Serie A. Evra's wage on the other hand is within the Juve pay structure.

how does Shaqiri replace Vidal? They don't even play in the same position. Shaqiri is a winger.

I know Vidal gets a lot of rave reviews, but he's playing in a weak League

He did it in the Bundesliga too though, which made Bayern Munich try to sign him. His skill-set is pretty much compatible with any league, he'd be an instant hit over here just like Fernandinho was (but Vidal is even better than Ferna, which is saying something).

In Redcafe they are talking that a guy they call "Woody" returned from the tour in the US and has something to do with this bussiness.... Who is this Woody? (sorry, ignorant foreigner here... trying to learn)
