Patrick Vieira has confessed he feels he has let down the manager and owners of Manchester City.

The 33-year-old has struggled to show his best form at Eastlands since arriving in the January transfer window from Inter Milan.
The former Arsenal star enjoyed arguably his best game for the club in last weekend's win over Aston Villa and he is determined to help City overcome Tottenham in their fourth spot showdown on Wednesday and claim a place in next season's UEFA Champions League.
"I have not given what the people who brought me to the club expected. But it is never too late and Spurs is another big game," said Vieira.
Focus

"My focus is how I can help the club get fourth place because I have been really frustrated.

"I don't feel I have been doing what I am capable of and I have not been playing at my best.

"It has been difficult because when I came back to England to join Manchester City, I was injured and it needed a strong belief from the board and from the manager. It is a good time for me to show they have made the right decision."

He was brilliant against Villa. Breaking up play, winning us the ball, keeping possession and finding great passes. Lets hope he can do that on Wednesday.

I wouldn't say he's completely let us down, he's just been a bit hit and miss. He's had some great games, such as Villa, some rubbish and the ridiculous banning. Certainly has been better to have him in than not, as our midfield is ridiculously low on players.

IMO Vieria has had 2 excellent games for City, but has never been a complete liability.

Against Villa he was my man of the match and can't remember who else it was, but he had another great game a few weeks back.

Some great games! He played well v Villa but nothing else.

Well said Pat you aint been brilliant..BUT... if you wanna really make amends for some of your displays, roll back the years for just this one game,to your majestic, imperious best and run this game tomorrow.and trust me you will be remembered fondly forever at this club, also if an incentive were needed remember all the shit these spurs cnuts have given you over the years....Go Get em Sunshine
