The tempo of the game change totally when he came on. Hull players started to stand off, they were obviously in fear of him. He looked a little rusty but you can see there is still plenty of desire.
Did you go to Hull ?

No but I guess you did,
Just watched it via internet stream.

Not having a go mate but rusty is an understatement, he was slow and his passing was terrible and as regards Hull players in fear of him just wasn't the case.
Our aspirations need to be above the likes of Vieira

I don't think he should take de jongs place, bit they may be a good partnership together with Ireland in front of them

I stand by what I said mate, watch players cover their team mates when he has the ball that's fear. He got things moving. His experience is worth his wages alone. I think he will be a good acquisition Mancini has been shrewd in his management of the squad, he took over in difficult circumstances and Vieira is obviously his man in the camp, players will respect him and he will help instil the philosophy of Mancini's football.

I cant wait to see him against the clogger shite tomorrow. More looking forward to Johnson though, he is so direct and comfortable on the ball. Even takes a good corner.

You must have watched a different game then. I thought his passing was pretty good, haven't seen enough of him yet so I won't judge him yet, but at least he tried to pass the ball forward (on the floor) instead of sideways and backwards like De Jong and Barry.

Get it on DVD and watch it again ,I walked out of the ground with the majority moaning about the fact he was even on the pitch
