Villa allocation confirmed

From Villa`s web site:

"PLEASE NOTE: The Trinity Road Stand Upper Tier and the North Stand Upper and Lower Tiers will not be available to home supporters and season card holders will not have the option to claim their own seat for this fixture"

Therefore not only are there 5,900 tickets available for City fans in both tiers of the North Stand but, subject to demand, potentially tickets also for the Trinity Road Upper Tier as they are not being sold to home supporters.

At £15 for an adult ticket there are many good reasons for thousands of Blues to turn out at one of our favourite grounds for an important game on our way to Wembley to complete our treble and be the first side to win all three major domestic trophies in one season.

C`mon CITY.
There's no chance of us getting the trinity road upper, it's closed due to demand. They and the police are never going to put us above their directors box that's in the trinity road middle tier. It's 5900 tickets and that's our lot.

What about the normal away upper and lower section in the Doug Ellis stand, are they being sold to Villa fans or left empty?.

Lower tier have now been released, Very annoying as i was forced to buy upper this afternoon when i wanted lower.

Agree , suppose I can understand the reasons why they have done this , but still think its crap that we weren't given the opportunity to choose which level we wanted to sit in .

Am over it already though

Bring a parachute and you can join us on level one ,just don't land on my head !
Yes it must be annoying for some of you, strange decision to sell tickets that way.

it's not something to get worked up over, I hate second tiers and always try and avoid them, chiefly because of stewards trying to get you to sit down but i've got a ticket at the end of the day, and that's what matters. it's just bizarre how they've sold them, the only reason i can see them doing that is due to a potential lack of demand but there's no way this isn't going to sell out, they can't be that out of touch with the fans to think we'd struggle to sell out surely?

Agree , not worked up about It , just think its out of order that we weren't given the opportunity to choose where we wanted to sit , very happy to just have a ticket . Same thing happened earlier this season at Everton away , bought tickets early and ended up stuck in upper bullens practically at the back .

Used to buy all my tickets by calling the club , liked being able to say where I wanted to sit , ask for aisle seats etc , but now find it easier to do online , just have to accept that sometimes the seats allocated are not the best

Looking forward to the game , just hope the Villa fans turn up in decent numbers to add to the atmosphere , had some great away days here

Is it still "dry" in the away end?

I have never known it be anything but dry for away fans at villa. It would be easy to get bottles in like they did for the Community Shield, but then again it isn't really a big loss.

They were only selling Upper Tier when I go mine today, half way back, could not be arsed waiting for lower to be released due postage constraints.
