Villa allocation confirmed

Don't have enough points and this got sold out, trying to get one in home end but directly on villa site it needs purchase history so not gone to general sale yet (and not sure if it would?) What's the best way of getting a ticket? Don't mind home end either ... better than not watching, the game's not on tv either!

Managed to get tickets for this. Thanks to the cup scheme. Anybody know where I can find out about coaches. Trains are 40 quid a pop so looks like driving is the best option so far.

I've got a return train ticket for me and the boy for less than a tenner! Depends where you live I suppose but London Midland are doing a 20% discount offer online.

I'm led to believe that Villa are not selling the 3000 or so tickets in the usual away section to their own fans so why are these not available to City fans?.
Because they've given us all the ticket the FA require them to give us. They've moved us to the end behind the goal, so have no reason to give us any more. Of course they could have sold a lot more tickets by giving us extra, but they wouldn't want 9,000 blues there would they ?

Clubs need to think more about the availability of tickets to away fans in the home areas. Do the club give away more tickets to away fans in games like this, or do they have a smaller area where both fans can mix like they have at Fulham? There is going to be a fair few away fans in home areas tonight and Saturday, because away fans want to be at these games. It ensures seats are not empty if the interest if higher than normal from away fans...

I would have thought in this day and age of money obsession they would have cashed in. I wonder if City did ask for more or not?.

Hi all, Aston Villa fan here in peace.

I don't think our ticket office want to give any additional tickets to City above the 6000, as it would start to get close to there being more City fans than Villa at the game! We haven't sold many at all so far, despite it only being £15-20 for adults. The back few rows of the Holte are closed off, the Trinity Upper is closed, and the usual away end (Doug Ellis Upper and Lower) is also closed. Looking at a crowd of 25k max, disappointing for a Saturday afternoon 3pm.

Exactly why there should be a mixed area at football grounds. In this instance it would mean that if the interest is there, away fans don't miss out on what should be a decent game.

Certainly is mate, always liked aways at villa park and was hoping for a cracking atmosphere. Why the poor sales? Do you reckon its your form over the whole season, because usually thats forgotten about for a cup tie?

A couple of season ticket holders I've spoken to aren't going because they think we have no chance. So I guess it is a case of being worn down over the season with the poor results. Shame because a lively and packed Holte End opposite the big away following would have generated some real noise. I'm still a big fan of the FA Cup so am going just on the 1% chance that we get a result!

That's incredible. You got to the final last season as well. Wonder if the wankers at The Mirror will feature that story on their back page.

Sad to see Villa struggling to sell tickets for this. Can't blame a lot of them considering how poor the team is playing

To the villa fans - I noticed on one of the vids at the wycombe cup game when fans were giving stick to the players getting on the coach that one fan said 'don't laugh it's not funny' to one of the players (or something like that). Any idea which player it was?

I think we'd be in a similar position to what villa are in now if we hadn't got lucky with the sheikh. Well we would have been in 2010 ish before getting relegated

I believe it was Bacuna mate. He looked at them and laughed when they were abusing then all including him and one of the villa fans said 'oh you think it's funny? You fu*king so and so'

Classic would be where were you when you were shit as home attendance has dropped significantly
