I was at that game as well pal. I remember running on the pitch with other City fans when Peter Barnes scored, and my younger brother ran over to Peter to congratulate him.Only time I was at Leicester was the first day of 76 77 season. Bastards tried to ambush us on the way from coach park found they had bitten off more than they could chew, got a right spanking.
After that it got a bit heated on the terraces and I ended up in a bit of a brawl with some Leicester fans,and ended up with a bust lip for my troubles.
Mind you I was pissed out of my head at the time. I had 3/4 pints in a pub before the game, and then on the walk to the ground bought a bottle of Merrydown cider from an offy.
I didn't know it is about 7 % alcohol so necking it back in the streets near Filbert Street and it really went to my brain.
I woke up on the Sunday morning with a thick head and a busted lip.
The daft things you do as a 20 year old!!!
