yep bit of an odd one really. i'm half expecting this one to drag on for a bit longer, but maybe valencia dont want to look like they are using villa to start an auction and solve their problems, and will just grant him the move he wants.

i think i might be leaning the other way to you here .... i mean think of it, in valencia's situation, they sell a great striker yes .... but .... they get a fantastic replacement in return, so they can use the money they do make in clearing their debts and not having to seek out other players. Negrado is a real talent, thats why madrid sent him out on loan to almeria, they wanted him to keep developing at the rate is was but they couldnt use him more than a bit part, he is a very talented guy though, and as valencia are going to be falling down the table a bit, he could be a key player for them

i heard "hunter" the SCOTTISH bald guy off revista on sky sports say it was 50million + negredo and another player (forget the name, gonzalo?) for villa and albiol, that IMO is cracking piece of business for Valencia !
