you gotta admit on a pure footballing side of things its a bloody great season so far.

Sanity at last...........the top 4 are being reined in...I think this season has been the best Prem so far. A more even playing field, and hopefully it means that it`s not just us that breaks into the Chumps Leagues spots, but also another team. That would be great for the Prem.

Villa won that because they were well organised but more importantly composed. Most teams go to trafford and shit their pants. They panic on clearances and give the ball straight back to the rags whilst sitting back and inviting them onto them all the time. The first half Villa kept their cool and just played their game and they were the better team. Second half near the end they started to feel the pressure a bit but still remained composed and the rags didn't threaten them greatly

As for Villa winning affecting us, well, to be honest we shouldn't have to rely on Villa or Spurs to fuck up. Our squad is superior to theirs and if we don't finish above them we've got to ask serious questions

It's a very good thing that the Sky Four are being reined in, as you say, but it makes it all the more frustrating when our toilet defence keeps us from taking better advantage of it all.
