It was a good half in terms of get the possession and dominate the game. Though, Milner is struggling, I would change him for Nasri. But if we could continue with that play then in about 60 minutes of play Dzekou should go on and replace Barry/Milner/NDJ.

As for de Jong, he is immense today I think.

I think we are comfortable and will take them second half. Like many on here I am also suprised that Milner has had an off day so far and Kompany looks very hesitant today.

Predictable bollocks in this thread. I'm betting on a 30 page 'Aguero is shit' thread after the game thanks to the chat of the commentators.

Take DJ off put Dzeko on, take Kolarov off put Nasri on.

hart
komps lescot
zaba milner
Barry Nasri
Silva
Johnson Aguero
Dzeko

Call me 'rag' as usual for stating my opinion, but................THREE HOLDING MIDFIELD PLAYERS YET AGAIN! Why can't lescott and kompany be relied upon to take out bent and keane on their own?

We're playing without a centre forward, yet having two wingers and an overlapping full back on the pitch. This was the problem last year too - no focal point and why we cant score.
Rag or not, you're simply clueless whoever you support.

Too slow in the build up and when we get their not enough numbers in the box.Villa are poor and a more atacking lineup would get us the 3 points.Sad to say but spurs would be at least 2 up in this game imo,are we getting too defensive like last year.If we dont win this it will be points dropped and not 1 gained if we draw.

We need to start taking risks away from home. This cautious game opens us up for smash and grab defeats as has been the norm recently. Go hard early on and if we do concede as a consequence at least we will have time to get back in the game. Frustrating
